
Nairobi Youth Leadership & Community Volunteering
This 14-day Nairobi program combines school-based volunteering, youth workshops, and community outreach with carefully designed cultural experiences. Students live together in a volunteer house, collaborate with local schools and children’s homes, and explore how education, mentorship, and sport can strengthen community wellbeing.

Program Details
Base location: Volunteer house in Waithaka, Nairobi, with shared rooms, hot showers, and a rooftop space for evening reflections.
Core activities:
Classroom support and small-group tutoring at partner schools like Southern Cross Academy and Ripoi Primary School.
Student-led workshops on digital skills, growth mindset, life skills, and girl empowerment, co-designed with local teachers.
Sports sessions and tournaments with local students (football, netball, games) to build confidence and connection.
Outreach days at a children’s home and community centre focused on practical improvements such as painting and repairs.
Evening reflections, chapati cooking with local chefs, and fireside-style conversations with Kenyan speakers and youth leaders.
What’s included in the fee structure:
Airport transfers, transport in a van to all official locations, drinking water, and daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Nairobi, plus on-ground orientation and support.
